Spotlight on Interdisciplinary and Timeless Trends
The Mavise passion for exquisite wallcoverings was born from a refined interest in unique art, photography and trends. Our vision is to create collections that represent the absolute best of curated art.
As we prepare to launch, here is a sneak peek our favourite trends that have inspired some of our collections.
I) Venetian Plaster
Venetian plaster is a high-end wall finishing method that can be tailored to your home's design aesthetic. Using venetian plaster can provide a variety of natural and highly polished appearances, such as the extremely on-trend cement render finish, or more elaborate finishes such as marble or stone-look finishes.

II) Texture
Texture is essential in interior design, because it is physically woven into the fabric of a designer's language and method of work. Texture is not only about how a room's decor and soft furnishings feel; it is also about 'visual texture,' which is the use of different materials to lend interest and vitality to a space.

III) A Monochrome Palette
A trend that celebrates the use of a single primary colour, with all of its secondary hues serving as supporting parts. White, beige, grey, and dark brown colours are the most popular. They appear to be both discrete and relevant. In addition, the monochromatic colour wheel makes it simpler to match the shade and preserve harmony.

IV) Biophilic Interiors
Inspired by nature, more productive, and with a greater sense of well-being, a design trend that connects us to nature. It's more important than ever to bring nature within and create biophilic spaces, which draw inspiration from nature in both overt and covert ways.

As the world's population continues to urbanise, these attributes are becoming increasingly significant since they can reduce stress, promote creativity and clarity of mind, improve our well-being, and speed up healing.
